Aquaman goes behind the camera. Actor Jason Momoa will write his first series for Apple TV+, which will chronicle the colonization and unification of Hawaii.

Jason Momoa will write his first series for the occasion. The actor indeed signs the scenario of Chief of War, which will tell this historical event from the point of view of the natives. An obviously epic work but told according to Apple TV+ in a completely new way.

Momoa will also be producing alongside Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. The first season will consist of eight episodes, the content of which is still being kept secret. If Jason Momoa has ever been behind the camera for a short film, he shouldn’t be credited with directing Chief of War.

According to information from Deadline, Apple TV+ is said to be in negotiations with Justin Chon for the first two episodes. This is not his first collaboration with the platform, since he has directed several episodes of the Korean series. Pachinko.

See will have a season 3

Released last August on Apple TV+, the second season of See will not be the last. A third salvo of episodes is on the program and filming started this summer in Toronto. It must now be finished, leaving Jason Momoa time to devote himself to this new project.
