F1 returns to Rocket League via the Formula 1 2022 Fan Pass for the Miami Grand Prix. On the program: various customization options (stickers, rims, engine noise) and an F1.
The new Formula 1 season is in full swing and is coming to Rocket League. Psyonix announces that the partnership will continue with the arrival of the Formula 1 Fan Pass 2022. Fans of video games and Formula 1 will be able to find F1-branded content from May 4 to 10, during the Miami Grand Prix. This new pass will cost 1,100 credits and will offer in particular a Formula 1 version 2022 (Hibtox Dominus). We will also find stickers in the colors of five teams (Alfa Romeo, AlphaTauri, Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull and a special McLaren Miami livery); from Pirelli tires and engine noises.
Players who decide to go through the Rocket League Item Shop will be entitled to other benefits. Indeed, new features are planned throughout the Formula 1 season. Psyonix promises two more updates, which will include the stickers of other teams (Mercedes, Hass, Williams, Aston Martin and Alpine) as well as new colors for the Pirelli rims. They will be free for players who decide to acquire the Fan Pass now. A Formula 1 2022 player banner will also be available, free of charge, from May 4 to 10.
With this announcement, Rocket League intends to surf on the growing interest in F1. Since its release in 2015, this game available on consoles and PC has been a delight for streamers. To continue to gain in popularity, Rocket League has just been enriched with an ephemeral battle royale mode. For its part, Formula 1 will go to Miami for the first time and the battle should once again be intense between the leaders of the championship, Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Max Vestappen (Red Bull).
And if you like racing games but prefer motorcycles, 2K Games may have the solution. The publisher is reportedly working on a competitor to Rocket League… which would replace cars with motorcycles. It remains to be seen whether the game will go so far as to approach MotoGP, the queen event of motorcycle speed.
